Join our dedicated team as a Visitation Supervisor, where you will play a vital role in facilitating safe, positive, and structured visitation experiences for children and their families. In this dynamic position, you will oversee visitation sessions, ensure compliance with policies, and support families through compassionate supervision. Your leadership will help foster healthy relationships and promote the well-being of children in care.

Duties

- Supervise scheduled visitations between children and their family members or guardians in a safe and welcoming environment
- Monitor interactions to ensure respectful, appropriate behavior and adherence to visitation guidelines
- Document visitation activities accurately, including any incidents or concerns that arise during sessions
- Collaborate with caseworkers and other professionals to coordinate visitation plans and address any issues promptly
- Provide support and guidance to families to promote positive engagement during visits




- Maintain a secure environment by enforcing facility rules and safety protocols at all times
- Assist with setting up visitation spaces to create a comfortable atmosphere for children and visitors

Skills

- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and adaptability in diverse situations
- Experience working with children, understanding their developmental needs and emotional well-being
- Robust communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging or sensitive situations
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and adherence to policies
- Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team
- Compassionate approach with a commitment to promoting positive family relationships

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 – 40.0 per week
