Job Summary

Responsible for operating recyclingcollection vehicles across Northern Ontario, safely collecting recyclablematerials, completing assigned routes efficiently, and providing excellentcustomer service. This position services multiple collection areas throughoutthe region, including communities between Sault Ste.

Marie, Wawa, Timmins,Thunder Bay, Kenora, and Red Lake. Overnight travel is required as part ofregular route operations. Drivers are responsible for completing pre- andpost-trip inspections and ensuring compliance with all safety and companypolicies.

Position Description

- Operate recycling collectionvehicles in a safe and professional manner;
- Collect and transport recyclablematerials from assigned customer locations;
- Service multiple collection routesand municipalities across Northern Ontario;
- Travel throughout designatedservice areas, including overnight stays as required;
- Observe all company safetypolicies and safe work practices;
- Provide excellent customer servicein accordance with company policies;
- Ensure assigned routes aresuccessfully completed in a timely and safe manner;
- Conduct pre- and post-tripinspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs);
- Maintain accurate routedocumentation and communicate effectively with operations teams.

Skills & Qualifications

- Valid Ontario DZ driver’s licensewith a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR;
- Minimum one-year experiencedriving with a DZ license OR AZ graduate from an accredited driving school;
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs;




- Ability and willingness to travelextensively throughout Northern Ontario;
- Flexibility to work a rotatingschedule averaging four days per week, with occasional five-day work weeks based on operationalrequirements;
- Comfortable working independentlyand staying overnight away from home as required;
- Robust time management andorganizational skills;
- Knowledge of Northern Ontarioroadways and driving conditions is considered an asset;
- Able to successfully pass allrequired pre-employment screenings;
- Punctual, reliable, and a teamplayer.

Work Schedule & Travel Requirements

- Rotating schedule averaging 4 daysper week, with occasional 5-day work weeks;
- Routes service multiple Northern Ontario communities;
- Overnight travel is required on aregular basis, including up to two overnight stays per week;
- Travel may include service areasbetween Sault Ste. Marie, Wawa, Timmins, Thunder Bay, Kenora, Red Lake, and surroundingcommunities;
- Company vehicle and travelaccommodations provided as required
