This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse who enjoys the variety of primary care, values continuity of care, and wants to make a genuine difference for patients and whānau in our community.

You will work closely with our wider multidisciplinary team, using your experience, sharing your knowledge and continuing to develop your expertise. No two days are the same in primary care, and you will have the opportunity to use your broad range of nursing skills across: Immunisations and cervical screening

Chronic condition management, including diabetes and asthma
Acute presentations and clinical triage
Health assessments, education and preventative care

Supporting patients and whānau to achieve better health outcomes

About you

Ideally you will: Hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)

Have solid experience in primary health care
Be clinically confident and committed to maintaining high standards of care




Be comfortable working independently while being a strong team player

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Mō tō mātou rōpū: About the team North Care Medical Centre is a welcoming, community-focused healthcare provider with three sites across Hamilton. This role is based at our North Care Pukete Road clinic, where you will join a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team of administrators, nurses, doctors and other clinical staff who work closely together to provide excellent care for our patients.

North Care is owned by Primary Health Care Limited (PHCL).

This role will remain open until we find the right person to join our team.
