Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Wedding & Event Bartender to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the life of the party, providing exceptional beverage service at weddings and special events. Your enthusiasm, professionalism, and hospitality skills will help create memorable experiences for guests and ensure smooth event operations.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Set up bar stations efficiently, including stocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and mixers to meet event needs.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service and answering beverage-related questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout the event, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar systems, ensuring proper billing and payment processing.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly, checking IDs as needed to comply with legal drinking age regulations.




- Collaborate with event staff to coordinate timing for drink service, ensuring seamless flow during busy periods.

Requirements

- Previous experience in bartending, serving, or food industry roles is highly preferred; restaurant experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of beverage safety practices and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during events.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change accurately, and managing tabs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain necessary food safety training prior to employment is advantageous.
