Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Micros POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring quick and friendly service
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities, using Micros POS systems
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain proper food handling procedures, ensuring all products meet health regulations and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling orders, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to operate POS systems like Micros POS confidently and efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Experience with cashiering and upselling techniques to boost sales and enhance guest experience
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food industry standards is a plus
