Job Responsibilities

- Cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and wood-based materials according to specifications.

- Operate woodworking equipment such as table saws, panel saws, drills, sanders, routers, and other hand/power tools.

- Read and follow drawings, measurements, and work orders.

- Measure and cut materials accurately using measuring tools.

- Assemble wooden components using screws, nails, glue, and other fasteners.

- Perform sanding, grinding, trimming, and finishing of completed products.

- Inspect finished products for quality, dimensions, and workmanship.

- Assist with material handling, loading, and general production duties when required.

- Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

- Previous experience in woodworking, cabinetry, furniture, millwork, or wood manufacturing preferred.

- Comfortable operating woodworking machinery and power tools.

- Ability to accurately use a measuring tape and basic measuring tools.

- Physically fit and able to lift and move materials.

- Solid attention to detail and quality.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

- CSA-approved safety boots required.
