Mirage Society & Yoga is a Toronto and GTA-based collective focused on authentic community and meaningful recovery. The Mirage Society is a private social club for founders and entrepreneurs & professionals, offering curated brunch meet-ups and deeper connection beyond traditional networking. Mirage Yoga is the movement and wellness division, providing Hatha and Vinyasa sessions for in - person classes, private clients, corporate offsites, and retreats across the GTA, all led by certified instructors and accessible to practitioners at every level. Together, these branches create social and physical spaces where people can show up as themselves, connect, and recharge. Mirage is based in Toronto, with membership by application and a growing presence across the Greater Toronto Area.

Role Description

The Yoga Instructor will deliver engaging, safe, and inclusive yoga classes for Mirage Yoga clients across the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This is a contract role, on-site role includes planning and teaching group and private sessions, adapting instruction for different levels, and integrating Hatha and Vinyasa practices into class design. Day-to-day responsibilities involve preparing class sequences, guiding students through mindful movement and breathwork, offering modifications and hands-on or verbal adjustments as appropriate, and maintaining a welcoming studio or onsite environment.



The instructor will collaborate with the Mirage team to support corporate offsites and wellness retreats, contribute to community-building activities, and uphold Mirage’s standards of professionalism, care, and client experience. Administrative tasks may include basic class reporting, schedule coordination, and clear communication with clients and team members.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Yoga Instruction skills, including experience creating safe, level-appropriate sequences.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Vinyasa and familiarity with Ashtanga or related styles to support diverse class offerings.
- Candidates should possess Teaching skills, including the ability to lead groups, provide clear cues, and adapt to different learning styles.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, delivering instructions, and collaborating with the Mirage team.
- Recognized yoga teacher certification (e.g., 200-hour or higher) and current CPR/First Aid training are preferred.
- Experience teaching in studio, corporate, or retreat settings and working with students of varied abilities is highly beneficial.
- Ability to travel within the Greater Toronto Area, maintain punctuality, and manage a consistent full-time schedule is required.
