Souvlaki George is a busy Greek restaurant serving fresh, quality food in a quick-paced environment. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Line Cook / Cuisinier(ère) to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to Souvlaki George recipes and standards
- Work efficiently on the line during busy lunch and dinner services
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, meats, vegetables, and other food items
- Operate and maintain grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment
- Ensure food is prepared quickly, consistently, and to quality standards
- Follow proper portioning and food preparation procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
- Restock and prepare your station for service
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Help with general kitchen preparation and cleaning as required

Qualifications





- Previous restaurant or line-cook experience preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen is an asset
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to cleanliness, quality, and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- French or English required
- Greek is an asset
