Welder Fitter/ Steel Installer Waterloo, ON | Full-time $25-$30 Our client is seeking a Site Welder / Steel Installer to join its structural steel and custom metalwork team. This hands-on role involves installing fabricated steel at construction sites, completing field welds, and working with the crew to ensure each installation is safe and accurate.

This opportunity would suit a welder who enjoys varied projects and hands-on installation work outside the shop.

Responsibilities include:

Read drawings and take site measurements to plan installations Position, fit, bolt and weld structural steel and miscellaneous metal components Install items such as stairs,



railings and other custom steelwork Make in office adjustments to achieve proper fit and alignment Inspect completed work for quality and report any site or drawing discrepancies Use welding equipment, hand tools and lifting equipment safely Follow site safety procedures, including requirements for working at heights What we're looking for: Experience with structural steel installation, field welding or a similar trade Ability to read drawings and work accurately with measurements Confidence fitting and welding steel in a construction-site environment Strong safety habits and the ability to work well with an installation crew CWB welding qualifications and Working at Heights training are assets Please apply online today or email [email protected] for more information.
