Midland Transport is currently seeking skilled and Mobile Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Brampton, ON . The successful candidate will hold a 310T license and have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
This position is ideal for a self-motivated skilled who enjoys working independently and providing on-site service to customers.
Shift: Monday- Friday - (7am - 4pm)

Responsibilities
Travel to different locations to diagnose, service, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty equipment in the field.
Complete routine maintenance and preventative service on engines, brakes, suspensions, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and repair documentation.
Identify required parts and materials needed to complete repairs efficiently.
Communicate professionally with drivers regarding vehicle conditions, repair requirements, and service recommendations.
Maintain service vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment in an organized and safe manner.
Report non-conforming situations and safety concerns.
Other duties as assigned by the Shop Supervisor.
Qualifications
Truck and Coach Technician 310T License.
Two or more years of relevant, hands-on experience post-certification is preferred.
Solid understanding of diesel engines, aftertreatment/electrical diagnostics & air brake systems; experience working on trailers is an asset.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage time while working in the field.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively when required.
