## Press OperatorApply: Concord, Ontario: Full time: Posted Today: JR **Responsibilities*** Accountable for continuing a job in press according to schedule.* Follow QDC procedure steps as per PRO61-10 and PRO62-10.* Conduct regular checks to be performed while press is running.* Responsible for completion of daily production sheet and other paperwork as required in a timely manner.* Keep checking\changing heat code & date stamp as required.* Responsible for pulling a die/stamp when job is complete or as required.* Always ensure bins are accurately tagged.* Do regular safety checks on presses.* Adopt and practice Kaizen Principles and Concepts.* Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.**Requirements*** Grade 12 or equivalent work experience.* Must show some mechanical aptitude.* Ability to load coil from coil car to feeder.* Ability to start current coil through die.* Ability to participate in all aspects of quick die change.* Ability to use SmartPac and Spectrum Systems.* Ability to remove old coil/strip from die.* Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural and fast paced environmentThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.
