As the Director of Development, you will manage a $4 million donor portfolio, guiding a talented team under the Assistant Dean. Your leadership will directly contribute to a $13 million Development and Alumni Engagement program aligned with the Faculty’s annual goals. Ideal candidates will have a passion for science education and an aptitude for identifying strategic partnerships to support fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee fundraising strategies for major gift solicitations
• Manage a portfolio of 75-150 major gift prospects




• Mentor and lead a team of fundraisers
• Collaborate on multi-year fundraising campaigns
• Develop proposals and communication for donors
Requirements:
• University degree with 8+ years in fundraising
• Proven major gift fundraising experience
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience mentoring fundraising professionals
• Willingness to embrace diverse perspectives
