The candidate will report directly to the Manager, Project Management Department and work closely with senior McDonald’s corporate staff and business leads to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to market objectives. The candidate will play an integral role in driving execution excellence across multiple programs by coordinating cross-functional teams, supporting project governance, and assisting in crisis‑related response activities when required. This posting is for an existing role.DutiesChampioning the BrandManage project progress, create key reports, and facilitate project status updatesDefine project/program risks, build & manage mitigation plans to drive efficient decision‑makingOwn project meeting preparation, facilitation, and follow‑up on action itemsSupport the communication plan for key messages, project updates,
and key decisions that will be used throughout the portfolio of projectsLeverage lessons learned from previous projects to lead pre & postmortems, and share out lessons learned with project stakeholdersBetter TogetherExecute strategic enterprise initiatives for the Canadian Market with project management leading practices including building project charters, defining scope & success metrics, building and maintaining project timelines and identifying and managing cross‑functional resources from all areas of the business (including National Operations, Marketing/Menu, Supply Chain, People, Technology, Field Service, Strategy & Insights, Canada Impact, Etc.)Can thrive in both an individual and team environmentStrong guest‑centric focus and shows a resourcefulness for accomplishing tasksManage cross‑functional team relationships, motivate and inspire the team towards the shared goal, and lead through team conflict resolutionBuild strong relationships and credibility with business leads, project teams and stakeholdersPartner with and coach business leads, project teams, and stakeholders, to strengthen their project management skills, guiding them through best practices while driving project deliveryMaintain a professional attitude with colleagues and partner organizationsCommitted to LeadCollaborate with Project Leads to define success criteria for program delivery as well as the ways in which success will be measuredCreate & implement project communication and change plans for Market Governance teams (Enterprise Initiative Governance & Initiative Steering Committee)Use and continually develop leadership & stakeholder management skillsA keen eye for process improvement opportunitiesQualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience leading a project, executing PM methodologies & standardsUniversity degree with proven analytical acumen and working towards the PMP designationKnowledgeable in project management methodologies and best practicesResourceful self‑starter with strong analytical skillsStrong aptitude with Microsoft Office products: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, VisioStrong team player with proven ability to build relationships and foster collaboration across functional areasDemonstrated strong organizational and time management skillsExperience coaching or guiding cross‑functional teams in project management practicesAbility to deliver results with a client service mindsetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to solve problems creativelyAbility to manage multiple deliverables and remain organizedFamiliarity with project management software and toolsLeadership ExpectationsThe successful candidate must display, to some degree, the following behaviours:Stand with the GuestInspire Others to ShineCollaborate Across BoundariesFocus on Shared PurposeSeek New WaysSalary RangeThe expected salary range for this role is $76,799 - $102,398 per yearThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
