ErinoakKids is looking for dedicated Registered Practical Nurses for on-site care in Brampton. This role involves supporting children with medical complexities and requires solid interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will implement individual care plans and conduct assessments to support clients within the Respite Program. Weekend availability is essential, and you will also provide direct clinical care, communicate with respite staff, and follow infection control protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and implement individual client care plans
• Communicate effectively with respite staff about care plans
• Conduct assessments to respond to client needs
• Provide direct clinical care and support
• Adhere to health and safety procedures
Requirements:
• Diploma in Practical Nursing required
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Previous pediatric nursing experience needed
• Experience with children with disabilities preferred
• Excellent communication and assessment skills
