As a Driver reporting to the Kitchen Services Supervisor, you will play a crucial part in the operation of the drop-in day programs. Your responsibilities include safely transporting donations, maintaining the delivery vehicle, assisting with sorting donations, and performing some kitchen support tasks as needed. This position directly contributes to providing essential resources for individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely transport food and supplies across multiple Belong Ottawa locations
• Load and unload goods with care and accuracy
• Maintain logs and communicate with staff regarding deliveries




• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report issues
• Assist with waste management and kitchen support duties
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence
• Experience operating commercial vehicles in urban settings
• Ability to handle loading and transporting heavy materials
• Solid organizational skills and ability to work independently
