Salary: $ /hour
Benefits: This is a unionized position with salary and benefits subject to the requirements of the BC Government Employees Union ’s Collective Agreement.
Union Grid: 16-P-OT (BCGEU-CSSEA)
Hours: 35 hours/week (Monday–Friday, 7 hours/day, flexibility to meet client needs)
This is a full-time position; however, part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
Start Date: Fall 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter

About the Role
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Occupational Therapist works with children and youth experiencing physical disabilities and/or motor delays.
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will:
- Assess, develop, implement,
and evaluate individualized intervention plans
- Support children and youth in achieving developmental milestones
- Address functional, motor, and sensory challenges
- Recommend and support the use of assistive technologies and adaptive strategies
- Promote success in self-care, play, school, and community participation
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, schools, and community partners
- Deliver services using culturally inclusive and trauma-informed approaches
- Support regional service delivery, including virtual care options

Qualifications
- Degree from an entry-to-practice Occupational Therapy program
- Registration (or eligibility) with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
- Pediatric experience is preferred
- Experience supervising a Rehabilitation or Therapy Assistant is an asset

- Clear Criminal Record Review
- Ability to use standard office and communication technologies
- Physical capacity to meet job requirements
- Class 5 driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, and access to a reliable vehicle
