As part of EXP’s Mining and Metals team in Sudbury, ON, you will work with licensed electrical engineers on diverse projects. This role involves assisting in electrical system design, power distribution, and coordination with various engineering teams. Develop your technical skills while contributing to creative mining solutions that empower local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design of electrical systems for mining facilities
• Support power distribution and motor control center designs
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and design packages
• Contribute to single-line diagrams and equipment layouts
• Participate in site visits and support field investigations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Registered or eligible for Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
• Interest in mining and industrial projects
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and engineering design software
• Strong analytical and communication skills
