In this role, you’ll bring designs to life and help deliver impactful infrastructure solutions, from concept through construction.Your ImpactPrepare conceptual and detailed design layouts, sketches, and drawingsProduce civil/municipal engineering drawings and 3D modelingCoordinate and check drawings with other engineering disciplinesPrepare quantity estimates to support project planning and deliveryMonitor and inspect construction operations to ensure compliance with engineering design, site standards, and specificationsInvestigate field and design problems and prepare reportsLiaise with clients, authorities, and contractorsConduct site visits and inspections to support project executionThe Skills That Set You ApartDiploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Civil Engineering Technician from an accredited post‑secondary institutionMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil municipal design, drafting, and design support, with senior-level candidates preferredAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D,
including preparation of civil engineering drawings and design deliverablesExperience with the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects, including water, sanitary, stormwater, roadways, grading, and site servicing projectsAbility to support design activities, coordinate project deliverables, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team membersExperience with Department of Municipal and Community Affairs standards would be considered an assetWhy Choose WSP?Why Choose WSP?
