Work as an In office Crane Support Technician. Manage crane rigging, support operators, and assist mechanics while adhering to strict safety standards in a union workplace.
Your responsibilities will include aiding crane operators in the assembly and disassembly of cranes and helping to rig equipment properly. You will also support mechanics with maintenance tasks in the shop and yard and ensure the protected delivery of equipment to various job sites.
This position is integral to maintaining operational efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Help assemble and disassemble cranes as needed
Rig equipment following safety procedures
Assist with crane maintenance and general shop duties
Deliver equipment and rigging to necessary locations
Collaborate effectively within a team framework
Requirements:
Completion of 3rd year apprentice or Journeyperson certificate
Holding a Class 1A driver’s license is essential
Must follow safety work practices diligently
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Maintain union membership requirements
Ensure operational safety and efficiency in crane support while following established safety guidelines and fostering teamwork.
