Position Overview
The Apprentice Technician at Collision Center Mercedes-Benz North Vancouver plays an key role in supporting the Service Department by assisting with vehicle maintenance, repair activities, and overall shop efficiency. Reporting to the Body Shop Manager, this position provides hands ‑ on learningand mentorship opportunities while contributing to the team ’ s commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and high ‑ qualityautomotive work.
This role supports the dealership’s long ‑ termtechnician pipeline by developing core technical skills,
maintaining accuratedocumentation, and ensuring all service operations follow brand and dealershipstandards.
The expectedpayfor this position is$23.87 - $36.72 per hour.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist licensed technicians with daily repairand maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Notify the Production Manager of any additionalrequired repairs, parts, or labor identified during repairs..
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workenvironment in the shop.
- Follow all safetyguidelines.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely andefficient manner.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Production or Body Shop Manager or designated supervisor.
Qualifications Required
- Successful completion of Level 2 of a registered automotive apprenticeship program.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean drivingrecord.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention todetail.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independentlyand as part of a team.
- Self ‑ motivated with a strong desire tolearn and develop technical skills.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
