Work with Caledon Animal Shelter as an Assistant to the Animal Services team, dedicated to animal well-being and facility maintenance. This role offers dynamic daily tasks. You will report directly to the Supervisor, supporting daily operations to maintain a clean and protected workplace for animals.

Responsibilities include general upkeep, feeding animals, and maintaining outdoor spaces. This position is perfect for those passionate about animal welfare and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure cleanliness of kennel facilities and animal enclosures
Conduct general housekeeping duties including laundry
Prepare and serve food for animals, including special diets
Engage with and exercise dogs and cats
Assist with transportation of animals and supplies using a vehicle Requirements:
Minimum one year of experience in animal care
High school education required
Willingness to obtain necessary vaccinations
Clean G-Class driver’s license with minimal demerit points
Solid ability to manage tasks and communicate effectively Contribute to animal welfare efforts while gaining experience at Caledon Animal Shelter.
