Overview

We are looking for a friendly and energetic Café Attendant (Barista) to join our vibrant team. In this role, you'll be the face of our café, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Your main focus will be preparing and serving high-quality hot chocolate, coffee and other beverages, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accurately.
Assist in food preparation tasks like assembling snacks or light meals when needed.
Provide friendly, attentive service to guests, answering questions about menu items and dietary options.
Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas,



following food safety guidelines.
Manage cash register transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate math calculations for payments.
Support food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and ensure safe food service practices.

Qualifications
Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Knowledge of POS systems like Micros POS or similar is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and approachable demeanor.
Valuable time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations.
Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work well in a team setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $17.95 per hour
