Lodge Chef and Caretaker

This is a diverse position where you will be in charge of operating a small 6 person remote lodge. It is very similar to running a Bed and Breakfast. Guests will be there only 4 nights a week and will expect spotless accommodations and excellent food. We will facilitate everything needed for you to offer impeccable service to a loving and loyal clientele who have been coming to this location for many years. There are times during the week when you will be very busy, but also days with plenty of down time. This position is best for self-starters who like to run their own program without being micro managed. The location is beautiful, and the staff and work environment are world class. Guests only expect to see a smiling face, outstanding home cooked food, and a clean place to rest after a days fishing.
You are responsible for all lodge operations and clean up.
Ordering Food twice per week, which includes keeping a running inventory of fresh produce, meats and dairy products.
Keeping the kitchen,



main lodge along with all freezers, refrigerators, and pantry organized and clean.
Setting dinner table with general dining room set up and close down duties.
Preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner and an appetizer service before dinner. Meals are provided for 9 people ( 6 guests 3 guides) 4 times a week.
Making guest beds and daily bathroom/cabin clean up 2 times a week .

5) Deep Cleaning guests cabins which entails changing, washing and drying

all cabin linens, making beds, deep cleaning bathrooms,

sweeping, mopping and dusting twice a week.

Pay is 6,500.00 a month and tips are usually $4000 a month
