Strathcona Paper, which is part of PaperWorks, produces and markets high quality paper-based specialty products and services. The mill operation is located in Napanee, Ontario. We are currently recruiting for the following position:

ELECTRICIAN

Reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I;) Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation and troubleshooting of all E&I; equipment, machinery and systems in the Mill. The ideal candidate must possess a certificate of qualification as an Industrial Electrician 442A or a Construction Maintenance Electrician 309A obtained through a recognized apprenticeship program. The position requires a minimum of (5) year’s industrial experience, preferably in the Pulp & Paper setting. Experience with DC drives, three phase AC variable speed drives and motor control, PLC (Allen Bradley) programming and troubleshooting is a requirement.





A working knowledge in instrumentation/loop tuning, distributed control systems, as well as computer skills (AutoCAD, Word) would be an asset.

This position requires the incumbent to be available for call-in support and occasional extended hours of work to accommodate Mill maintenance requirements. The position pays $45.88 and includes a comprehensive benefit package.
