We are seeking a dedicated Sales/Optical Assistant/Optician to join our team in providing exceptional eye care services. Duties
Assist patients with frame selection, lens options, and fitting procedures
Prepare and process optical prescriptions using electronic health record systems
Support optometrists during eye examinations and patient consultations
Manage inventory of frames, lenses, and optical supplies
Perform basic laboratory tasks including lens edging and adjustments
Educate patients on lens options, maintenance, and proper eyewear care
Handle retail sales transactions and assist with product displays
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety standards




Provide excellent customer service to ensure patient satisfaction and retention

Requirements
Knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care is preferred
Laboratory experience or optical experience is highly desirable
Experience in retail sales or sales-driven roles is a plus
Familiarity with optical equipment and systems
Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles is beneficial but not required
Robust interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
