Duties
Greet clients and their pets warmly, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently
Handle medical collections accurately, processing payments and insurance claims
Answer phone calls promptly, providing information and directing inquiries appropriately
Maintain detailed records of patient visits, treatments, and client interactions
Support veterinary staff with animal handling, restraint, and basic animal care procedures.
Ensure clinic cleanliness and aseptic techniques are upheld to maintain a secure environment for staff and animals
Requirements
Previous experience in veterinary reception or administrative roles preferred but not required; training provided
Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and restraint techniques is highly desirable
Experience with pet care activities including dog handling, grooming, and training is a plus
Familiarity with laboratory procedures, medical collections, and aseptic techniques is advantageous
Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint methods; experience with kennel management or animal husbandry is beneficial
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain medical procedures clearly to clients
Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
