Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness at one of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for visitors. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations of our organization by ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and presentable. This position is full-time. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning of office, party room, hallways, pool, garbage room and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
Conduct deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and floor polishing as needed
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and break areas
Maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
Give access to trades
Skills
Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work
Robust knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums etc
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
Good organizational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
