Join our dynamic team as a Class 1 Long Combination Vehicle (LCV) Owner Operator Driver, where you’ll take charge of delivering trailers to yard and safely across various routes. Duties
Safely operate Class 1 LCVs to transport trailers to designated location of yards adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and freight loads to ensure safety and compliance
Load, secure, and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
Maintain accurate documentation for all deliveries, including delivery logs,
inspection reports, and freight manifests
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any delivery challenges
Schedule run Edmonton to Winnipeg than back. 3 trips per week. Consistent miles
Team driver
Experience
Proven 2 years minimum experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 license
Knowledge of freight handling procedures, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance practices
Robust understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for heavy equipment operation
Training provided of LCV
No violations or tickets on license
Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service
