We are a high quality and busy multi-practitioner physiotherapist, chiropractic, kinesiologist, and massage therapy office currently looking for a bright and energetic, well-spoken, detail-oriented, medical office assistant with exceptional customer service. Applicants MUST have a minimum of 8 years of customer service experience in dealing with the public, ability to multi-task, show empathy and compassion, and be a self-starter. Past experience in the medical field is an asset but not a must as we are willing to train the right candidate. Schedule is Monday to Friday 36 - 40 hours per week.

Monday - Thursday shifts: openings (7 am - 3:30 pm) and closings (10:30 am - 7 pm).

Friday shifts: openings (7 am - 3:30 pm) and closing (9 am - 5:30 pm).

Qualifications and Requirements:





*Medical Office Assistant Certificate (asset but not required)

*Minimum 8 years of customer service experience

*Keyboarding skills, a min of 40 wpm

*Ability to multi-task, a self-starter and be able to prioritize required duties

*Skilled telephone manners and attitude

*Fluent in speaking and written English

*Strong customer service, organizational skills and attention to detail

*Experience with scheduling and billing software

Overview of basic Duties:

*Maintaining patient flow into the office

*Maintaining clinic cleanliness throughout the shift

*Booking/Modifying Appointments & Schedule Management

*Accurate data entry

*Answering phone and email inquiries

*Billing to third-party insurance companies
Processing payments and cashing out at the end of the day

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
