Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for procedures
Assist dentists during various dental treatments, including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic procedures
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
Manage patient records using dental practice management software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
Support front desk staff by handling patient check-ins, scheduling appointments,
and managing patient flow efficiently
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards across all clinical activities
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role with a solid understanding of dental assisting procedures
Proficiency in dental software systems for record keeping
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care settings
Experience assisting with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools used in orthodontic or restorative treatments is a plus
Excellent communication skills as a Dental Receptionist to provide outstanding patient service
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
