We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Wiring Technician for our client in the Mississauga area for the day and afternoon shifts
Days: Monday- Thursday 7:00am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Pay rate: $23.50 per hour
Afternoons: Monday- Thursday 4:30pm to 1:00am and Friday 3:30pm to 12:00
Pay rate: $25.85 per hour
Job Description
Perform point-to-point electrical wiring and assembly of elevator fixture panels by following related electrical CAD schematics.
Ensure that the elevator fixture panel function smoothly as per the design of the panel layout
Interpret CAD schematic diagram and understand the circuit’s functionality and troubleshooting the issues
Conduct wiring of connections, terminate as needed for variety of connectors, control systems, electronic circuit boards, Actuators, Sensors and other electrical devices
Assist and conduct inspection, functional and continuity testing,
adjusting and evaluation of incoming electrical and electronic components and assemblies to ensure conformance with product specifications and tolerances
Inspect fixture panel according to the schematics and instruction, checking the quality of the process
Inspect assemblies visually with applicable measuring devices and identify non-conformances as applicable
Troubleshoot wiring issues and work to resolve them.
Able to lift up to 15lbs, may work in hot areas 5%, noise 5%
Requirements:
College Diploma in electrical or equivalent qualified experience
At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing background
