We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Working Foreman to lead construction teams on diverse projects, ensuring that work progresses efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. In this role, you will coordinate daily operations, supervise crew members, and collaborate closely with project managers to meet project timelines and budgets. Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and according to plans and specifications
Lead and motivate construction crews, providing explicit direction and support to maximize productivity and safety
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide onsite work effectively
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
Oversee safety protocols on site, enforce compliance with worksafe regulations, and conduct regular safety meetings
Collaborate with project managers on scheduling adjustments, procurement needs, and resolving onsite issues
Skills
Proven supervising experience in a civil construction environment with strong leadership capabilities
Extensive civil construction experience
Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding construction estimating processes
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and safety standards within the construction industry
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Familiarity with using construction schematics for troubleshooting and planning purposes
