Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and maintaining a clean, organized work setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent kitchen skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is an asset. Further training will be provided.

Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of food products
Support the team during busy service hours by managing multiple tasks simultaneously




Ensure all food served meets quality standards and customer expectations
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen workplace

Skills
Experience in serving, food preparation, and cooking in a restaurant or food service setting is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently under time constraints
Excellent understanding of kitchen equipment and techniques used in the food industry
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in dish quality
Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
