Job Overview
Matrix HR is hiring Journeyperson and Apprentice Electricians for an upcoming commercial new-build project in Calgary, AB. This is a great chance to join a professional crew on a significant local development, with steady work available throughout the summer.

Start Date: Immediately

Pay Rate :
Journeyperson: $42.26/hr.
Apprentice: $21.13/hr. - $33.80/hr.

Responsibilities
Assist with installation of electrical systems in commercial settings
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Cable pulling, conduit installation, and basic wiring
Support journeymen electricians on-site
Perform basic electrical testing
Maintain a clean and safe work workplace
Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements
Valid Journeyperson Electrician ticket or Apprentice status
Fall Protection certification
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification
WHMIS 2025 certification
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work at heights
Committed to high safety standards on site
