Job Summary

Hungry Zus is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Food Counter Attendant to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, prepares and serves food items, and ensures a positive dining experience. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling menu items to enhance their experience
Prepare and assemble food orders according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
Manage cash transactions efficiently, providing correct change and processing payments accurately
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Handle food with care to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
Assist in stocking supplies, ingredients,



and condiments to ensure smooth daily operations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality or safety

Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management
Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is advantageous
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude during high-volume periods

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
