Smith's Quality Meats is a locally owned and federally inspected meat production plant producing a diverse portfolio of products including deli meats, sausages, burgers, and steaks.
We are currently hiring Packaging Workers for full-time positions. Previous experience in food or meat production is an asset but is not required. Training will be provided.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Start time: No earlier than 6:00 AM
End time: No later than 4:00 PM
Exact working hours will be determined based on production requirements and operational needs

What You’ll Do
Package meat products according to established procedures
Weigh and portion products accurately
Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently
Label and date products correctly
Inspect products and packaging for quality and accuracy
Pack finished products into boxes and containers
Move packaged products to designated storage areas
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Work as part of a team to meet daily production requirements
Perform other general production duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Experience in food or meat production is an asset but not required
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Able to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
Strong reliability and punctuality
Good attention to detail
