Responsibilities
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques
Safely move goods within the warehouse or delivery area, ensuring proper handling of heavy items
Support drivers with route preparation, including organizing packages and verifying delivery documentation
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or delivery staging areas




Conduct safety checks on equipment like forklifts before use and report any maintenance needs
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries politely during delivery interactions

Requirements
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a warehouse or delivery setting
Experience operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with customers
Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
Valid commercial driving license (CDL) or willingness to obtain one is a plus
Ability to move quickly and adapt in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining safety standards
