Duties
Set up and operate CNC machines such as CNC lathes and CNC milling machines, ensuring accurate production according to blueprints and technical specifications
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models using SolidWorks or other CAD software to program and adjust CNC equipment
Read and analyze engineering drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements
Use precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and quality standards during production
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance
Maintain accurate documentation of machine setups,
production logs, and quality checks
Follow safety protocols diligently while handling hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift operations when necessary
Experience
Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes or CNC milling machines in a manufacturing setting
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings confidently
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during machining processes
Hands-on experience with machining tools like calipers, hand tools, power tools
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
