Become a key player in youth development with Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre as a Program Facilitator. Focus on tutoring, mentoring, and creating an inclusive environment for youth aged 13 to 18.
This temporary full time role supports low-income youth and aims to foster their self-esteem and sense of belonging. You will develop educational programming, facilitate operations for post-secondary preparation, and promote opportunities through various communication methods. Your work will directly contribute to the growth and empowerment of youth in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement educational programs for youth
• Facilitate tutoring and mentoring initiatives
• Create promotional materials for program awareness
• Support recruitment of mentors and speakers
• Maintain communication with the Youth Programs team
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience
• 3–5 years of relevant youth experience
• Knowledge of diverse populations and education systems
• Computer skills and evening availability essential
• Fluency in English; additional languages an asset
