CareRx is seeking a dedicated Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. This role emphasizes safety in drug distribution while developing expertise in geriatrics, palliative care, and mental health medications. You will perform critical final checks and refine your skills in compliance, packaging, and prescription fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Staff Pharmacist in preparing patient prescriptions
• Ensure all prescriptions are complete and authentic
• Confirm accuracy of data entry in eMAR and Kroll
• Execute final checks before product release for accuracy
• Maintain confidentiality and contribute to a clean pharmacy environment
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
• Knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy systems preferred
• Retail/Community/Long Term Care Pharmacy experience
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
