As a Senior Engineer within the Customer Grid Access team at AESO, you will manage crucial interconnection engineering studies for integration into Alberta’s electrical system. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare Engineering Study Scope documents for assigned clusters
• Conduct advanced power flow and system analysis studies




• Develop alternative solutions for Market Participant connections
• Prepare Single Line diagrams and Connection Proposals
• Collaborate with multiple internal teams to address technical issues

Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering; P.Eng. eligible
• 8-10 years of electric utility experience
• Proficient in PSS/E software and Python
• Strong understanding of transmission planning
• Ability to mentor Engineers and Engineers-in-Training
