Our energy industry client is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to manage daily credit exposures, conduct credit analysis and complex credit reviews using an ETRM system and data reporting tools
Candidates will be in-office 5 days/week in downtown Calgary
Must Haves
10+ years of Credit Analysis within the energy industry across physical and financial markets
Advanced exposure management and credit analysis using ETRM systems , Power BI , Power Automate, and Databricks
Complex counterparty credit reviews, credit limit decisions, and portfolio monitoring within Credit Policy frameworks
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related discipline
Quantitative scoring model ownership and portfolio benchmarking analysis
Responsibilities
Monitor daily credit exposures within approved credit limits and tenors
Conduct ongoing credit analysis using internal and external market intelligence
Complete complex credit reviews and provide approval recommendations
Contribute to daily, monthly, and quarterly credit reporting activitiesOwn and maintain quantitative scoring models supporting portfolio benchmarking
Support contract and collateral negotiations while monitoring portfolio exposures
Advise the business on recent counterparty requests and deal structures
