Job Description Allied Universal is seeking professional and highly motivated Security Guard to join our Security Operations team at a shopping mall location in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Job Title: Security Guard Overnight
Job Location: Winnipeg, MB
Job Type: Full time
Pay Rate: $16.90 per hour
Shifts: Tuesday to Friday; Midnight to 8 AM
Number of positions: 1
Overview This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, thrive in fast paced operational environments, and are committed to delivering exceptional security services. The successful candidate core duties include controlling site access, conducting routine perimeter patrols, monitoring digital surveillance systems, checking for safety or fire hazards, and documenting daily activity logs
Requirement Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
Experience with report writing and note-taking.
Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
Valid MB security guard license.
Must be eligible to work in Canada over 40 hours per week.
Valid First Aid and CPR certification.




Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
Must be proficient using computer
Specific Duties Performed And Essential Functions Access control for the facility/area
Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
Vehicle Gate and Console duties
