This one-year locum position offers a unique prospect for a skilled Plastic Surgeon to join a busy practice focused on breast and general reconstructive procedures. Ideal for recently fellowship-trained reconstructive microsurgeons, this role involves immediate and delayed breast reconstructions, trauma care, and shared call coverage. You will gain valuable exposure within an academic setting while partnering with a dedicated surgical team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform immediate and delayed breast reconstructions
• Conduct general reconstructive surgery and trauma care
• Participate in lymphatic reconstruction projects
• Handle shared plastic surgery call responsibilities
• Collaborate with a high-volume surgical team
Requirements:
• Certification in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
• Eligible for licensure in British Columbia
• Fellowship training in microsurgery preferred
• Experience in breast reconstruction strongly desired
• Additional training in lymphatic reconstruction is an asset
