DRA Global is seeking a Senior Underground Mining Engineer to join our hybrid team in Canada. This senior role encompasses developing mine designs, estimating equipment requirements, and maximizing project values for our esteemed clients. Your expertise will span open pit and underground operations, ensuring top-notch performance and successful project implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead mining engineering teams on diverse projects
• Prepare mine designs and schedules for underground operations
• Estimate fleet requirements and develop CAPEX and OPEX
• Formulate strategies to enhance project value for clients
• Collaborate on technical reports, including NI 43-101 compliance
Requirements:
• B.Eng in Mining Engineering
• 10+ years in consulting or mine operation
• Membership in a Canadian professional engineering order
• Practical experience in both open pit and underground mining
