Lead the transformation of software delivery at Index Exchange as a Senior ELM Developer. This role focuses on enhancing developer productivity through innovative engineering practices in a hybrid work setting.
As a transformational engineering leader, you'll own and architect the Developer Experience at Index Exchange. You will oversee a globally distributed engineering team, enhancing Release Engineering capabilities while integrating seamlessly with Quality & Delivery practices. Your focus will be on transitioning to a mature, gated Software Development Life Cycle that supports human and automated development at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own architecture for Developer Experience and Release Engineering
• Architect automated gates for software delivery lifecycle
• Collaborate with engineering leaders on the SDLC roadmap
• Identify gaps and translate findings into actionable plans
• Foster a culture of collaboration in engineering
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science
• 12+ years in software development environments
• 5+ years in engineering management
• Experience with policy-as-code enforcement
• Excellent communication skills in matrixed organizations
