As a vital member reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will commission and test power equipment, including transformers and circuit breakers. Your expertise in Risk Management and industry practices will guide junior technologists as you interpret prints and analyze test reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Commission medium to high-voltage power delivery equipment
• Mentor and train junior technologists in testing and safety
• Operate specialized test equipment for diagnostics
• Conduct acceptance and maintenance testing
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures on site
Requirements:
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or related degree
• 4+ years of experience with field testing and commissioning
• Knowledge of relay testing and high-voltage equipment
• Proficiency in testing software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to work in various conditions
