Bimeda is seeking an Aseptic Technician Level 1 for the night shift in Cambridge, ON. This role focuses on cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing equipment for aseptic manufacturing.
As an Aseptic Technician Level 1 at Bimeda, you will report to the Production Supervisor and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Key responsibilities involve disinfection, equipment changeover, and conducting filtration of Water for Injection (WFI). You will work closely with the batching staff to ensure sterile environments and assist in training new operators.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and disinfect critical areas and filling equipment
• Conduct cleaning and disinfection of fillers
• Load and unload dry heat sterilization ovens
• Document activities in log books and production dockets
• Assist in training new Aseptic Technicians
Requirements:
• 1-2 years in pharmaceutical GMP environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong math skills and English command
• Ability to lift 20-30 kg
• Detail-oriented with solid initiative
