Contribute to student safety as a Monitor at Bertha Shaw Public School, overseeing students during breaks and transitions. This part-time role requires vigilance, communication, and support of school safety protocols.

This position is essential for maintaining order and student safety during nutrition breaks, recess, and arrival/departure times. We're looking for individuals who possess a Grade 12 diploma and demonstrate strong communication skills, dependability, and a genuine concern for student safety. Monitors will work closely with school staff while addressing disciplinary issues as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise students during arrival and departure
• Organize student movements in an orderly manner




• Monitor outdoor yard duty during recess
• Ensure classroom and bathroom safety checks
• Address disciplinary issues and report to administrators

Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Willingly handle disciplinary matters
• Physically able to monitor all weather conditions
