Join HDR as a CFD Engineer to optimize building designs using cutting-edge computational fluid dynamics software. This full-time role focuses on data center modeling and fire simulations, shaping the future of infrastructure.
As part of our Building Engineering Services Group, you’ll leverage your expertise in CFD to enhance project execution. You will build relationships while applying advanced modeling techniques to solve complex design challenges. Additionally, your role will directly contribute to technological advancements in sustainable environments and aid in the design of high-performance facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Model designs using CFD software like Ansys Fluent and 6Sigma
• Optimize facility design with a focus on data centers
• Deliver project management assistance to the CFD team
• Assess computational modeling tools for building environments
• Support application of CFD in technical problem-solving
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field
• Minimum 5 years of CFD modeling experience
• Proficient in Ansys Fluent, FDS, or Cadence Reality
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Robust understanding of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
